BMI Chart

The table on the right shows the boundaries used in conjunction with the Body Mass Index in order to determine how healthy an individual's weight is. If you have calculated your BMI here then the relevant row will be highlighted for you.

If your BMI falls outside the 'Normal' range of 18.5 to 24.5 then you should consider changing your diet and excercise regimen. This will help to bring it back into line and you'll feel healthier as a result.

BMI:   Indicates:
Below 16.4 Severely Underweight
16.5 to 18.4 Underweight
18.5 to 24.9 Normal
25 to 29.9 Overweght
30 to 34.9 Obese Class 1
35 to 39.9 Obese Class 2
40 and Above Obese Class 3
